Howdy, I am Tanish Bandari

I'm an honors Computer Science student at Texas A&M University with a minor in Statistics and AI in Business. I have always been drawn to building things that solve problems, whether that means writing code, experimenting with machine learning models, or putting together a project that helps people in a practical way. My portfolio is a mix of those experiences, from professional work in software engineering to personal projects I have taken on. At Texas A&M, I have had the chance to work as a software engineer and research assistant, where I focused on everything from modernizing web systems to exploring how AI and natural language processing can improve interoperability in technical fields. I have also spent a summer at Fidelity Investments, where I built tools that made financial data easier to parse through and understand. These opportunities taught me a lot about working on real world challenges, collaborating in teams, and delivering software that actually makes a difference. My skills span across programming languages like Python, Java, C++, and JavaScript, as well as tools like React, Angular, and Spring Boot. Additionally, I have worked with cloud computing platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure. My experiences and projects have helped me develop and hone in these skills through real world application. But more than the technical side, what drives me is curiosity and the challenge of turning ideas into solutions people can actually use. Outside of internships and research, I enjoy taking advantage of A&M culture, whether that is through the sporting events or the various clubs on campus. Specifically, I am involved in TAMU ThinkTank, a club where you solve design challenges and compete in competitions, and Build TAMU, a club focussed on giving back to the community through building mobile clinics. These clubs have allowed me to express my passions here at A&M.
